October Client of the Month: Carolina Mangan

Caroline Mangan is a Junior at UNC-Chapel Hill, studying Mass Media and Journalism. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out and being active, attending/watching UNC sporting events. 1. When did you start training at CHT? Last fall around October, I believe. 2. How has training at CHT helped you to achieve your fitness goals? CHT has been instrumental in helping me reach my fitness goals. I have my personal trainer, Robert, to thank for getting me into great physical shape, currently helping me maintain it and while striving to reach my new fitness goals by holding me accountable both in physical activity and nutrition. 3. Hi, I’m Rai. My full name is Raiselle, but to make it easier on everyone I go by Rai. I’m a senior at UNC Chapel Hill studying Exercise and Sports Science and minoring in Hispanic Studies and Neuroscience. I grew up in Connecticut and moved to Cornelius, NC my sophomore year of high school. After graduation and some time off from school I hope to attend to physical therapy school. On the off occasion that I have free time, I like to experiment with new recipes and then eat them all. National Taco Day Recipe

Happy National Taco Day! Here is Cody's favorite taco recipe to help you celebrate! Ingredients: Hard-shell corn taco shells - 2-6 shells depending on how much you want to eat/carb intake 1/4-1/2lb ground turkey 1/4 cup green pepper 1/4 cup sliced onion 1/4 cup sliced tomato 1/2 cup sliced lettuce & spinach 1/4 cup Monterrey jack cheese 1/2 avocado 1/4 cup cut jalapeños lime juice Favorite taco seasoning & sauce Preparation: 1) Slice green pepper, onions, lettuce, & tomato. Put the green peppers and onions in a separate bowl & leave the lettuce,spinach, & onion on the cutting board. Cut avocado in half, take out the pit, and spoon out 1/2 of the avocado.
