December Clients of the Month: Freda and Renee

Freda and Renee are our December Clients of the Month! This powerful duo began training together in August. They bring a lot of smiles, energy and personality into the studio. Freda and Renee have each answered some questions about their training and themselves below. See what they love about training with each other!

 

 

Renee

Renee is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill.  She has been an educator for 29 years. She has spent the last eight years as an administrator in Durham Public Schools. She loves to read, collect snowmen figures and travel. Renee is happily married with two grown sons.

 

1. When did you start training with CHT?

 I started at CHT in August, 2016.

 

2.  How has CHT helped you achieve your goals?

I have become more consistent with my workout plan, and I am trying new exercises. 

 

3. What is your favorite exercise?

My favorite exercise is the triceps dips.

 

4. What is your least favorite exercise?

I really dislike wall sits and lunges with weights.

 

5. How has training improved your life?

I am more dedicated to taking care of myself and getting into shape. I am stronger.

6. What is your favorite post workout food?

I do not really have a favorite post workout food. I usually enjoy a small cold glass of fruit juice.

 

7. What or who is your biggest inspiration?

That is a hard question. I am always inspired by those who encourage me in my day to day living.

 

8. What would you write on the chalk board sign?

Remember: “There are no language barriers when you are smiling!” Klein

 

9. What is our favorite workout song?

Well, that depends on the mood of the evening. Right now, we are enjoying Christmas music.

 

10. What is your favorite thing about training with your partner?

We keep each other encouraged. Also, we have so much fun laughing and poking fun at each other.

 

Freda

Freda is a former runner from South Carolina who attended school at UNC, and then stayed in the area.

 

1. When did you start training with CHT?

Freda and her partner Renee began training in August 2016.

 

2.  How has CHT helped you achieve your goals?

Different exercises I would have never tried.

 

3. What is your least favorite exercise?

It's hard to pick a favorite, but everyone has that one exercise that they want to avoid. For Freda that is the exercise where you are going up and down on one of the step climbers.

 

4. How has training improved your life?

Better muscle strength.

 

5. What is your favorite post workout food?

Milk

 

6. What would you write on the chalk board sign?

I can do all things.

 

7. What is our favorite workout song?

I really don't have a favorite song; we change according to our moods.

 

8. What is your favorite thing about training with your partner?

We laugh and have a good time to keep each other motivated.
